1). Where did you go and what made you decide?
Costa Rica, Four Season Papagayo Peninsula – short flight, culture – beach.
2). Was there anything that didn’t meet your expectations and why?
No. It’s the perfect spot – if anything I wish there were more direct flights from Dallas. There’s only one a week, otherwise you connect through Miami.
3). What was your favorite experience and what would you recommend?
The sky there is something you cannot explain – pinks, oranges…you feel like you’re on a different planet. My favorite experience is sitting on their beach. It’s like Mexico and Hawaii had a baby, my favorite place.
4). Is there anything you’d wish you’d known prior to going?
I would have packed lighter, you really don’t need much because the resort sucks you in and you roll out of bed, put on your bathing suit, cover up and flip flops.
5). Would you go again and what is the one thing you’d do differently?
I would stay longer so I can plan other day jaunts around the country. The people there are fantastic – they are my favorite on the planet.
