Welcome to Alreadybeen.com!
Mark Hopper is a fellow Arkansan living in Dallas, Texas; a self proclaimed photography and travel buff. Already Been was born from the love of travel, photography and seeing and sharing from those who have Already Been. I don’t have an inked-out passport and have a bucket list longer than the next guy, but I wanted to have a place to go and marvel and live vicariously through the eye candy photos and stories of other’s adventures. There are places I still want to go, to experience and to mark off my bucket list (the sharpie is drying up), so I worked on putting a site together for inspiration, not only for myself, but for those that have Already Been.
Already Been is your place to share experiences, to see and learn from others before you go. There is a wealth of knowledge readily available at our finger tips, but I am not one to plan (or not plan) a trip or outing based on a stranger’s 3, 4 or 5 star review. I want to see first hand and hear through your comments and photos the highlights of your trip; the things to do, things to avoid or the “definite must”. I have often glanced at photographs and instantly decided I want to go there, experience that.
Whether it’s a trip to the South of France, the Blues and Brews Festival in Telluride, CO, a weekend canoeing the Buffalo River in Arkansas or your favorite Cajun restaurant in New Orleans… you can post and share so that we can learn from those that have Already Been.
They say a photograph is worth a thousand words, so tell us your story (but without the thousand words, of course). Safe travels everyone!
